Powerful ‘The Servant King’ Gets Lyric Video

“The Servant King,” a powerful and beautiful song, has received the lyric video treatment. This heartwarming and tear-jerking tune about Jesus Christ deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch the short but moving clip to see and hear the lyric video for “The Servant King.”

Typically, when people think of royalty, they immediately envision endless riches, lavish, opulent mansions and an army of people who respond to their every whim and call. Belonging to a royal family, being incredibly wealthy and possessing limitless power usually means calling the shots, having people work for you and never having to wait for anything. If they were to say, “Jump,” the only logical and accepted response would be “How high?”

However, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, did and does not operate that way. Even though He was and is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Christ did not have boundless earthly riches, palatial mansions or bark out orders to an army of servants. Instead of demanding that others respond, fulfill His every beck and call, He came to serve. He tended to the weak, the sick, the disabled and the outcasts in society. He came to serve and die for all of humanity.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the lyric video for “The Servant King” is about the life of Jesus Christ, and how he came to Earth to serve and save a bunch of sinners. In the ultimate act of love, Jesus Christ, who was perfect in every single way imaginable, willingly took our place on that cross, suffering and dying so that we might one day experience eternal life.

The song’s beautiful lyrics are bound to bring a tear or two to your eyes.

“This is our God, the servant King
He calls us now to follow Him
To bring our lives as a daily offering
Of worship to the servant King”

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, when we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Couple’s Beautiful Rendition of ‘Because He Lives’

A couple has turned in a beautiful rendition of “Because He Lives.” This cover of the beloved hymn near and dear to the hearts of many deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch the short but thoroughly enjoyable clip to hear the couple perform “Because He Lives.”

Life is not always easy or fun. More than we’d like to admit, there are instances that result in extreme heartache and sorrow, pushing you to the very end. You might even reach the point where you’re ready to throw in the towel and give up entirely. Sadly, that is the reality for many people.

However, He never leaves nor forsakes us even during those painful and challenging situations. He is always at the ready, right by our side, offering His guidance, direction and protection. Even when it may not feel like it, He is still in control and hears and responds to our cries out to Him.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a couple sings a familiar tune about continuing even though life may be challenging and painful, even when circumstances are less-than-ideal. “Because He Lives” is a hymn that states that no matter what is happening around us or what we’re going through, life is still living simply because Jesus Christ is alive.

“Because He lives
I can face tomorrow
Because He lives
All fear is gone”

The entire song is essentially a promise, reassuring those who may be experiencing hurt and sorrow. Even though things are rough right now, Jesus Christ is alive and does not forsake us in our time of need. We are not going through it alone. We can have and experience the kind of peace the Bible mentions that surpasses all understanding, even amid tragedy and heartache.

Praise His name!

Romans 8:28 “And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose.”

Mighty Weapons of God

"The Mighty Weapons of God" is a powerful reminder that our strength is not in the flesh but in the Spirit. Through Christ, we have divine weapons that pull down strongholds, silence fear, and release victory.

Matt Redman and Charity Gayle Sing ‘Let Me See Jesus’ and ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus’

Matt Redman and Charity Gayle sing ‘Let Me See Jesus’ and ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus,’ and it is spirit-filled and wonderful. Watch the clip to see the two renowned worship artists come together in a beautiful act of devoted praise.

Matt and Charity are the combination we didn’t know we were missing. As they sing ‘Let Me See Jesus’ and ‘Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus,’ their voices blend and complement each other like no other. Both of their songs are entirely dedicated to Jesus’ wonder and holiness.

Matt wrote ‘Let Me See Jesus’ with Leonard Ray Jarman and Evan Wickham. Some of the thoughtfully written lyrics are:

Give me old, give me new
I just want to sing the truth
Hearing these praises
Let me see Jesus

As the duo and their crew of worshippers sing, they close their eyes and lift their hands in sacred praise. The songs they sing reflect on Jesus's miracle, how he came down as the Son of God and transformed all lives to come. He is holy, and to “see” him is to be reminded of his incredible sacrifice and God’s goodness.

Matt and Charity go beyond a performance. In fact, it’s not a performance. It’s just an act of worship that they’ve dedicated to Jesus. As the savior of the world, he more than deserves all the praise and appreciation for what he’s done for us. As you listen, sing along, reflect on who Jesus was and what he sacrificed, and remember God’s goodness.

“He took our sins on himself, giving his body to be nailed on the tree, so that we, being dead to sin, might have a new life in righteousness, and by his wounds we have been made well.” 1 Peter 2:24

Lyric Video for Beloved Hymn ‘I Need Thee Every Hour’

A beautiful lyric video for the beloved hymn “I Need Thee Every Hour” has been released. This rendition of the classic church hymn, which is near and dear to the hearts of many, is one you’ll want to listen to repeatedly. Watch this short but sweet and powerful clip to listen to and view this lyric video for “I Need Thee Every Hour.”

We live in a lost and fallen world. Sin has broken and destroyed relationships, careers and entire lives. Everything is immediately ruined, made infinitely worse after encountering sin. Sadly, the evidence for this is all around us, visible everywhere we look. People are hurting, struggling and calling out for help.

Since we are inhabitants of this broken and lost place, we are not immune to sin and its impact on our lives. We are very much sinners, like everyone else. However, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven, have our sins wiped away and be made a new creation in Christ. Even after we have accepted Him as our personal Lord and Savior, we do not become perfect, infallible or incapable of stumbling and falling.

Instead, we realize how much we must rely on and lean on Christ, His guidance, protection and wisdom to see us through every situation and encounter. The old church hymn “I Need Thee Every Hour” makes this point abundantly clear. Those beautiful lyrics perfectly articulate and express how much we really do need the Lord, not just every day but every hour, minute and second.

“I need Thee, O I need Thee;
Every hour I need Thee
O Bless me now, my Savior
I come to Thee”

You’re likely more than familiar with this hymn and those lovely lyrics, but that does not make its message any less accurate. We all need Him; we are lost without His guidance and direction.

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding.”

Stirring ‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’ Cover

Sarah Hawkyard released a truly impressive, stirring cover of ‘Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)’. She expresses herself with her voice and piano; the effect is wonderful. Watch the video to see the stirring performance.

The young artist puts her own spin on the moving worship song as she elegantly moves her voice to accompany her piano playing.

“This is my version of Oceans by Hillsong Worship, one of the most powerful worship anthems of our generation. I pray it reminds you to step out of the boat and trust Jesus, even when the path isn’t clear,” Sarah said, referring to when Jesus called his disciple, Peter, to walk on water as a test of faith in the book of Matthew.

Some of the lyrics of the powerful praise song are:

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

As Sarah plays, the atmosphere seems so quiet and peaceful. The performance feels wholly heartfelt, and even from her side profile, you can see and hear Sarah’s emotions in her face and voice as she sings. It’s covers like this that ensure these songs never get old.

The song draws you to reflect on its message and embrace it. Her cover maintains the deep sounds and message of the original song, which is about a dedicated willingness to follow God wherever he calls. It’s a powerful reminder of God’s peace and presence. Though a storm may be brewing around you, God’s got you, and you can trust him to lead you.

“And he said to them all, If any man has a desire to come after me, let him give up all, and take up his cross every day, and come after me.” Luke 9:23

Powerful Acoustic Rendition of ‘How Great Thou Art’

An incredibly talented musician has produced a powerful acoustic rendition of “How Great Thou Art.” This stunning version of the hymn near and dear to the hearts of many deserves to be listened to multiple times. Watch the short but moving clip to listen to this dazzling rendition of one of the most beloved hymns.

Where would you be without the Lord’s love, mercy, grace and forgiveness? That is a particularly frightening thought, a scenario we’d like to put entirely out of our minds and never think through. Of course, without Him, we’d still be lost and living in sin and shame. We’d be without hope or any chance at a future, and certainly not one that includes eternal life.

Luckily, those who have accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Savior don’t have to imagine such a scenario or entertain such thoughts. They are no longer what they once were but have been made a new creation in Christ. He has wiped the slate clean, and our sins have been forgiven. We could never do anything worthy or deserving of God’s love and forgiveness. It’s all a gift. That’s how great He is to you and me!

In a clip posted on YouTube, Stephen McWhirter performs the tune “How Great Thou Art.” It’s a lovely acoustic version of the hymn that we are all more than familiar with, but that familiarity does not dampen the song’s message and power.

“Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, Savior God, to thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!”

Stephen plays and sings with so much emotion, making for such a powerful rendition. His version of “How Great Thou Art” will likely bring you to the verge of tears, especially that iconic and memorable chorus, as he sings about the mighty power and love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
